ePRIME
As part of Switzerland´s participation in NATO´s “Partnership for Peace” program, we developed the web-based “ePRIME” management system. ePRIME supports the complex workflows of various NATO cooperation programs and facilitates the administration of relevant data and documents. Currently, the system has over 1000 registered users from all NATO members and partner countries. Several releases of the system were deployed successfully. As planned by NATO ePRIME should be extended into a central information source for all NATO cooperation programs and linked to education and training activities. Our project management and implementation was commended several times, read more.
KMS
On behalf of the Center for Security Studies at the ETH Zurich, we implemented two versions of the department’s Knowledge Management System (KMS). This system is used to collect and link information from a wide variety of sources and make it accessible as a central data repository. The goal is to create a pool of knowledge available to the Center of Security Studies and its international partners as base for their Internet services. Access to the data is controlled using appropriate security measures. The distributed system is optimized for access by a large number of simultaneous users. In early 2005, a first stable prototype was presented with great success. Start of 2006 a productive release was successfully deployed and is in use since then.
Tribuna Web Full Text Search
On mandate of Deltalogic AG we implemented a web interface for the University of Luzern focusing on a full text search in a Hummingbird full text database. This included implementation of a complex and customer-specific search logic, as well as a user friendly web interface using Ajax. The result is a standalone Windows service providing the required functionality and including an installation package. The solution is based on the open source web server Jetty.
MGB CMS
The MGB CMS is a flexible content management system based on the CMS Magnolia (Java) implemented for the Migros-Genossenschafts-Bund. The CMS allows decentralized management of web content through a very easy and intuitive user interface. Based on this CMS several services were realized ( www.contakt-net.ch, www.contakt.ch, www.contakt-menu.ch) and are managed by individual user groups.
